For the last few decades we gamers have had to make do with some lousy methods of staying warm on cold gaming nights. Couch gamers often had the luxury of throwing a doona, or blanket over them. But even that wasn’t practical as you need to get your arms out to use the controller. On the PC it’s even less practical, because you’re on a chair. I’ve tried everything. Wearing heaps of layers, big thick jackets. I even tried gloves. Enter, the Selk Bag. Let’s get the obvious out of the way to start, it looks ridiculous. It seems over the top, and just, a bit much. But damn, is it comfortable. Sure, it has drawbacks which I’ll get to later on. But make absolutely no mistake it’s comfortable. Whether you’re sitting at home playing a game, or roaming the streets of Melbourne with your handheld - it’s comfortable. It breathes quite well, maintaining a good temperature in cold rooms and rarely getting too hot.
